2012   Category I Dana Recipient awarded annually to regular faculty who have demonstrated superior scholarship, teaching ability, and university service. Faculty members receiving this award within the five preceding years are not eligible to receive a Category I Dana Grant.

2010     School of Humanities External Dana Professor Nominee.

2010  School of Social Sciences External Dana Professor Nominee.

The Dana funds are intended to help the University attract and retain faculty of “outstanding ability who possess high scholarly attributes.” Nominees should, in addition, demonstrate leadership qualities that have earned them the respect of their colleagues on the faculty and have given them significant influence on the life of the University.

2008  Jackie Gribbons Award for Leadership Recipient, Vermont Women in Higher Education, 2008.  “The Jackie Gribbons Leadership Award is presented to a woman who has demonstrated leadership ability, served as a model and mentor, developed innovative programs, and contributed significantly to the institution and profession.”

2008  Curriculum Development Fellowship.

2000  Board of Fellows Faculty Development Prize, “Utility of CART – Classification and Regression Trees Techniques for Improving Retention at Norwich University,” implemented a nonparametric approach to studying retention at Norwich.

2000  Faculty Development Research and Publication Grant, Norwich University.
